APPEARANCE:
Deep purple. Bold in colour.
NOSE:
The bouquet shows great intensity of blackberry fruit and spice with
tremendous concentration.
PALATE:
This concentration of fruit follows onto a rich powerful palate with
intensity and length. Balanced with good acidity and very long
tannins, a wine of traditional Shiraz character.
CELLARING:
The 2004 Ernest is drinking superbly at present. However, it has a
cellaring potential of 10+ years.
Food:
This traditional Australian style red is perfect with all red meat
dishes and cheese.
